As part of the Order of the Arrow's rollout of the new Induction process, all lodges are required to document key components and milestones of the process, as outlined below, in OA LodgeMaster (OALM). The information at each step that will be required is:
Below is a detailed walk through of the technology enhancements available in OALM as of April 1, 2026 to support the Induction Rollout process.
In order to access these tools, an additional permission has been created. Any LodgeMaster user who needs to view and/or edit the Induction Rollout will need the New Induction Rollout permission under the Category: Common menu below. Any user with the permission to manage user accounts may grant / revoke this permission at any time under the Users module. A screenshot below indicates where the new permission is located.

The NIRM may be accessed by:
Below is a screenshot of the NIRM and details on each section. The screenshot below represents the first time the NIRM is accessed a the process has not been started.
The left hand side of the screen is used to log Step One reporting requirements (detailed below) while the right side indicates a lodge's progress toward completion of the rollout.

To complete Step One - See On, you must log your core induction team's attendance at an induction experience in the New Induction Rollout Manager. As indicated above, a lodge must list the name, role (ceremonialist, luminary, or support staff / adviser), and the induction experience they attended. You must log a minimum of
However, you should log all members of your core team who will facilitate the lodge or section induction experience.
Below is an overview of the Step One Status Options:
Follow the steps below to add a new member to your induction core team:
Upon completion of Step One, the status indicator will update and should resemble the screen below.

To complete Step Two, the lodge must schedule and execute an induction experience. Most lodges will conduct this for their lodges through an LIE while select lodges will complete this step as the section's Exemplar lodge.
Note: while reporting ONE event is required to complete the phase of the process, all lodges should report ANY event where they offer the new induction to existing members until NOAC 2027. Doing so ensures accurate data reporting for members who have experienced the new induction.
All lodges will need to log the induction experience where they offer the new induction to existing members of the OA. Exemplar lodges should enter this event as well to ensure they progress through the tracking process.
Below is an overview of the status options for Step Two:
Induction Experience events are added using OALM's existing Event Manager functionality. A full guide to the Event Manager is available here.
As part of the OALM updates to support the new induction, boxes have been added to the event details screen.
To schedule the event, create an event using the steps listed in the Event Manger guide. When creating an event where existing members are going through the new induction, select the Member Experience check box.
Note: Scheduling an event is what trigger the OA National Office to ship the lodge's complimentary induction materials kit. Any delay in posting your event in OALM will delay your lodge kit shipment.

Once the event is saved, the status on the NIRM for Step Two will advance to Future Event, as pictured below.

Once the event has passed, the status on the NIRM for Step Two will automatically advance to 3 - Certification Incomplete.

After the lodge's peer coach has input the approved status, Phase 2 will automatically advance to 4 - Complete

It is critical that all lodge members who attended the event, especially as participants of the new induction are logged on the Event Roster. Details on managing event attendance can be found in the guide here. This ensures accurate reporting of the number of members who have experienced the new induction.
Once Step Two is complete, the lodge will need to schedule and complete at least one new induction with newly elected members. The event is scheduled using the Event Manager in the same manner explained above. However, when the event is created, the user must select the Induction with Candidates box to indicate that this is a live induction. Note: an event can serve both. For example, if a lodge will have a crew for existing members are part of a new member induction, both boxes should be checked.
Once an event is scheduled with a future date the Phase Three - Offer One status will automatically advance to 2 - Future Event.

After the event has passed, the Phase Three - Offer One status will automatically advance to 3 - Complete.

It is critical that all lodge members who attended the event, especially as participants of the new induction are logged on the Event Roster. Details on managing event attendance can be found in the guide here. This ensures accurate reporting of the number of members who have experienced the new induction.
